Data Retention & Deletion

1. Co-Create is not a backup service
We take reasonable measures to keep your content safe, but Co-Create is a tool for creating and running software, not a storage, archive or backup service. We do not promise that any content will be kept, recoverable or uncorrupted, and you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything that matters to you. Section 8 and Section 15 of the Terms of Service set out what that means for our responsibility if content is lost.
2. How long each kind of data is kept
The periods below are our normal practice. We may keep something longer where the law requires it, to resolve a dispute, to enforce our terms or to deal with a security incident or abuse, and we may delete inactive or oversized data sooner after notice.

3. Getting a copy of your data
- Your apps' code and data: download a .zip of each from the app's Ownership section while your plan is active. After a plan ends, start it again first; both are kept meanwhile.
- Your projects: Settings has an export that downloads your projects' documents as a file.
- Finished documents: Output can be exported as a PDF.
- Anything else: email cyberdesigner@aiaide.io and we will help, as required by the privacy laws that apply to you.
4. When you delete your account
When you ask to delete your account, we sign you out everywhere and schedule the deletion for 30 days later. Signing in during those 30 days cancels it. After that, we delete your personal data, your apps (including their hosting, domains and code repositories) and the projects and conversations only you are in; shared projects pass to a collaborator, and conversations with others keep your past messages under "Deleted user". Unused credits are forfeited. Payment and tax records are kept for 7 years. Start at co-create.build/delete-account.
5. Data held by our providers
Some data is processed by other companies that run parts of the Service for us, listed on our Subprocessors page. AI providers receive the content a feature needs in order to answer, and may keep it for a limited period under their own terms (for example, to detect abuse), after which they delete it. They do not use it to train their models under the terms we use them on, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Requests and questions
To ask for a copy of your data, a correction or a deletion, email cyberdesigner@aiaide.io from the address on your account. The Privacy Policy explains your rights.
