Credits & Billing Terms
Effective November 1, 2026 · Last updated October 28, 2026
These Credits & Billing Terms are part of the Terms of Service and explain how credits, plans and payments work in Co-Create. Words defined in the Terms mean the same here.
1. What credits are
Credits are units that measure use of certain Co-Create features. A credit is a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use those features under the Terms of Service. Credits are not money, currency, a deposit, a security, property or a stored-value product. They have no cash value, earn no interest, and cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, combined between accounts, or exchanged for cash, goods or any other value, except where the law requires otherwise. Buying credits is paying for a license to use the Service, and that payment is complete when the credits reach your balance.
2. How you get credits
- Buying them. On the web, credits are bought with a card through Stripe at the price shown at checkout (currently about $1.25 per credit, plus applicable taxes). In the iPhone or Android app, credits may be bought through Apple or Google at the price their store shows.
- Automatic top-ups. If you turn on auto top-up, you authorize us to charge your saved card the amount you chose whenever the rule you set is met (for example, when your balance falls below a level you picked), until you turn it off. Turning it off removes the saved card.
- Granted credits. We may grant credits for free, for example 25 starter credits when a new trial begins, referral rewards, promotions, goodwill or testing ("Granted Credits"). Granted Credits follow these terms and any extra conditions of the offer, may be limited to one per person, household, card or device, and may be revoked or adjusted if they were obtained by fraud, abuse, error or breach of our terms.
We may correct your balance if a credit is added or used by mistake, including a technical error or a price shown by mistake.
3. What uses credits
Credits are used for the computing and AI work features actually perform. What uses them, and how many, depends on the feature, the AI model, how long the work runs and how much it does. Today that includes:
- Coding runs that build or change your apps in the cloud, including retries, fixes and checkpoints, plus a small fixed charge for the preview build after a successful run.
- Planning, question and preparation work done before a build, design and mockup drawing, and spec drafting.
- AI chat, voice and writing features once you have used the monthly AI allowance included with your plan.
- Hosting a Live app each month, including usage above the included allowance, and extra app slots beyond your plan.
- Other features that say they use credits when you start them.
The amount used is measured by our systems from the work performed, and our records are final except for clear error. Numbers shown before work starts (for example, an approval's estimate of time and credits) are estimates, not quotes or limits. A job may use more or fewer credits than estimated, and we may reserve credits when a job starts and settle the actual amount when it ends.
If you use your own AI provider key, the work that runs on your key is billed to you by that provider, not in credits. If that work has to move to our backup provider, credits may be used for the part that ran there.
4. Work that fails, stops or isn't used
Credits pay for the work performed, not for a result. Credits used by a run or job are not returned if it fails, times out, is stopped (by you, a collaborator or us), produces nothing usable, produces something you do not want, needs to be done again, or is not merged into your app. This includes failures caused by the AI, by your instructions, by your app's code, or by other companies' services.
We may, at our sole discretion, return credits for a failure we caused. Returned credits are always credits, never cash. Returning credits once does not oblige us to do so again or for anyone else.
5. Expiry
Every credit expires 12 months after the date it was bought or granted, unless the offer that granted it says it expires sooner. Credits are used oldest first, so the credits closest to expiring are spent before newer ones. Expired credits are removed from your balance and cannot be restored.
Settings shows your balance and when credits are due to expire, and we aim to remind you about 14 days before credits expire. Reminders are a courtesy: a reminder that is late, missed or not received does not extend the expiry date.
6. Closing or losing your account
Unused credits are forfeited, without refund or payment, when your account is closed, including when you delete it, and when we terminate or suspend it for a breach of our terms. Ending a paid plan does not by itself remove credits, but some features that use them need an active plan.
7. Running out
When you do not have enough credits for something, the Service refuses it at the moment you try it and offers to let you buy more. Work already in progress may stop when its reserved credits are used up. Monthly charges such as Live hosting that cannot be paid from your balance follow the rules in the Additional Product Terms. Low-credit warnings are a courtesy, and we are not responsible for work that stops because credits ran out.
8. Price changes
We may change the price of credits and the number of credits a feature uses at any time, going forward. A change does not affect credits already used, and does not change the price of credits you already bought, but credits in your balance are used at the rates in effect when they are used.
9. Subscriptions and renewals
Plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until cancelled, and are charged to your payment method at the then-current price plus applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Price changes take effect at your next renewal after at least 30 days' notice. Plan limits, such as the number of apps, collaborators and the monthly AI allowance, are described on the pricing page and in the app, and the unused part of an allowance does not carry over.
10. Refunds
All payments for plans, credits and add-on services are final and non-refundable, including for unused, partially used or expired credits and for partial billing periods, except where the law requires a refund. If you think you were charged by mistake, email cyberdesigner@aiaide.io within 30 days of the charge. Purchases made through Apple or Google follow their refund processes, and if they refund a purchase we may remove the credits it bought. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
11. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. If a payment is disputed, reversed or charged back, we may suspend paid features, apps and hosting while it is resolved, and remove or deduct the credits that payment bought (or their equivalent, if they were already used). If the dispute is resolved in our favour, we may restore access. Repeated or bad-faith disputes may lead us to close the account.
12. Taxes and receipts
Prices exclude taxes unless stated. Where we must collect sales or similar taxes (for example, Texas sales tax on some purchases), they are added at checkout. Receipts are sent by email or available from the payment provider. We keep payment and tax records for seven years, as the law requires.
