AI Terms
Effective November 1, 2026 · Last updated October 28, 2026
1. How the AI features work
Co-Create uses AI models to ask questions about your idea, write plans and specifications, draw designs, write and change code, answer messages, transcribe voice, and take actions you ask its assistants (including HermesDJ) to take. The models are provided by AI companies we contract with, and some features run on computers we operate ourselves. Which model and provider handle a given request can change over time, including when one is unavailable.
2. Who owns inputs and output
As between you and AI AIDE, you own what you put in ("Input") and what the AI features produce for you ("Output"). To the extent we have any rights in Output, we assign them to you, subject to your compliance with the Terms. This does not cover our own software, templates and materials, which stay ours and are licensed to you as the Terms describe.
The law on AI-generated material is still developing. We do not promise that Output is protected by copyright or any other right, that it is unique (other people may receive similar Output), or that it does not resemble or infringe someone else's work. You are responsible for checking Output, including open-source licenses of any code or packages it uses, before you publish or sell it.
3. How your content is used
We do not train AI models on your content. We use your Input and Output to provide the features you use, to keep the Service secure, to fix problems, to follow the law, and, in aggregate or de-identified form, to understand and improve how the Service works. People at AI AIDE may look at specific content only when you ask us to, to investigate abuse or a security issue, to fix a problem affecting you, or when the law requires it.
AI providers receive the content a request needs in order to answer it. We use them under terms that do not allow them to train their models on that content, and they may keep it for a limited time (for example, to detect abuse) before deleting it. The providers are listed on our Subprocessors page, and our Privacy Policy gives more detail.
If you connect your own AI provider account or key, your agreement with that provider governs what it does with your content.
4. Check everything
AI can be wrong, and it can sound confident when it is. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, insecure, biased or offensive, and code it writes may contain bugs, security weaknesses, or depend on packages or services that change. An assistant may misunderstand a request and change or remove the wrong thing. That is why Co-Create asks for your approval before important steps.
- Review and test what is built before you publish it, give it to others, or rely on it.
- Check security, privacy and legal compliance yourself, or with a qualified professional, before your app handles other people's data or money.
- Do not rely on Output as medical, legal, financial, tax, safety or other professional advice.
- Do not use Output to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people (for example, about credit, jobs, housing, insurance or healthcare) without meaningful human review.
- Tell people when they are talking with an AI if the law requires it or they could be misled.
5. Actions assistants take for you
When you ask an assistant to do something, for example add or remove bullets, change a document, draft a message or propose a build, you authorize it to act in your account on that request. Some actions need you to confirm them by tapping a card or a button, and coding runs only start after you approve them. You are responsible for the actions you ask for and approve. Restore points and undo are provided on a best-effort basis and may not recover everything.
6. Use limits
Follow the AI AIDE Usage Policy, which includes the rules of the AI providers we use. Do not try to get around safety measures, extract our or a provider's prompts or models, or use Output to build a competing AI model. We may limit, filter or refuse requests to keep the Service safe and within those rules.
7. These terms and the Terms of Service
These AI Terms are part of the Terms of Service. The disclaimers and limits on our liability in the Terms apply to the AI features and their Output.
